WHAT IS THE SHAOLIN AFFILIATE PROGRAM?

First, let me state what it is not! The Shaolin affiliate program is not an association. An individual or school owner cannot pay simply a fee and become a Shaolin affiliate. The reason this cannot happen is because it is very important to the Shaolin Temple that I maintain the integrity of the Shaolin martial arts.

Shaolin has a rich history of over 1,500 years. In addition to my martial arts training at the Shaolin temple each and every year, I am instructed in Shaolin history. It is not enough to just know the art; one must understand its history and culture, of which I am still learning.

This specialized program is exclusively for MASTERS CHIEF INSTRUCTORS AND EXPERIECED MARTIAL ARTISTS ONLY!

To become a Shaolin affiliate one must be enrolled in the Shaolin 5 Animal Instructors Certification program, by taking private lessons with an authorized Instructor, or by taking private lessons with Grandmaster Steve Demasco.

A Master Chief Instructor or an experienced martial artist may chose to enroll in the Instructors Certification program without becoming an affiliate, simple because they want to add this program to their existing studio. Becoming a Shaolin affiliate will be done on an individual, and a studio by studio basis.

13. All Shaolin Certified Instructors will be recorded in the Shaolin Temple, Dengfeng China, with the Abbot Shi Yongxin.
