About SDSS Instructors

The qualifications of Steve Demasco’s Shaolin Studios’ Instructors are unparalleled in the industry. Before an instructor is allowed to work for us, they must successfully complete a two-year program: Steve DeMasco’s Shaolin Studios Academy of Professional Martial Arts Instruction. This program includes training as instructors, business leaders, and Shaolin martial artists, under the supervision of Grandmaster DeMasco.

Your instructor has received specialized training in all areas of instruction, including helping students on the Autism spectrum, ADD and ADHD, a host of special needs, anxiety, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and of course typical students of all ages and levels. Each student is treated with respect, and a program designed for him or her that will inspire your child to be his or her best.

Our instructors are trained to work closely with adult students with equal effectiveness. Whether you’re coming to the martial arts for self-defense, cardiovascular health, weight loss, confidence, or all of the above, we will develop a program that meets your personal goals.

SDSS Instructors earn their black belt with Grandmaster DeMasco as a part of their academy journey. All instructors are required to re-certify for their rank every year, again with Grandmaster DeMasco. In addiiton, instructors are regularly and closely observed by regional directors to be sure that you or your student receives the best instruction available today.
